Switchback Energy Acquisition Corporation Announces Confidential Submission of Draft Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering

DALLAS–May 28, 2019–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Switchback Energy Acquisition Corporation (the “Company”), a new blank check company organized by former RSP Permian, Inc. executives Scott McNeill, Jim Mutrie and Josh Rosinski and NGP Natural Resources XII, L.P., today announced that it has confidentially submitted a draft registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) relating to the proposed initial public offering of the Company’s securities. The initial public offering is expected to commence after the SEC completes its review process, subject to market and other conditions.
