[Context: On March 9, Marathon Oil announced the acquisition of 70,000 net acres in the Permian from BC Operating and other entities. The assets primarily are concentrated in the northern Delaware in New Mexico. BC Operating is the operating company for and owned equally by Quantum Energy-backed Crump Energy Partners II  and Post Oak Energy and Wells Fargo Energy Capital-backed Crown Oil Partners V.
